Layover (stopover) tours Frankfurt airport

Are you travelling through Frankfurt (FRA) airport and have a layover/stopover for 6 hours or more? Our guided, layover tours are designed to get you into Frankfurt city centre whether you are travelling on your own or as a group.

Starting with the 2 hour tour, priced at €130, your guide will meet you in the terminal, at the designated "Meeting Point", 45 minutes after your plane has landed.  Baggage can be left in a secure deposit and local currency collected from one of the many ATM's. Then it's straight onto the train for the 15 minute journey into Frankfurt. Once in the city centre, your 2 hour tour begins.  After the tour your guide will bring you back to the airport or, if you choose to stay in the city, will equip you with a map and a train ticket for travelling back to the airport.

Tours are simple to arrange by contacting WALK FRANKFURT using the contact form. You'll be sent a response within 24 hours confirming whether a guide is available for your tour at which point a deposit is requested to confirm the booking. Deposits can be made using payment link on this website. On the appointed day and time your guide will come and meet you at the airport.

Specific information about your flight is requested in the contact form so we can track your flight for early arrivals or delays.

Costs start at €130 for the 2 hour tour and include travel costs for groups of up to 4 people. A 3 hour tour can be booked for €160.

If your group size is larger, or you wish to tour for longer than 3 hours, fill out the contact form for a quotation. Once a date and time have been agreed, a deposit of €40 confirms your booking.

The balance payment must be paid in cash (€) to the guide on the day. E.g. a 2 hour tour is booked for two people = €130. A €40 deposit has been paid, therefore a balance of €90 will need to be paid in cash, on the day, to the guide.

Deposits are refundable. Please see terms and conditions.
