International Holocaust Memorial Day - January 27th.

It is shocking to realise that over 11 million people were systematically murdered during the Nazi era and that there were other groups, as well as the Jews, who were actively victimised. Frankfurt commemorates all. Memorials have been erected by the local council, by artists, companies, societies and by families of the victims, which exist around the streets of the city and exhibits are regularly put on public display as timely reminders.
